🧰 First Aid Kit Location & Access
- First aid kits are located at:
- Breakroom (main kit)
- Customer Service Counter
- Stockroom/Back Office
- Kits must remain fully stocked and accessible at all times. Notify the Store Manager immediately if supplies are low or missing.
🚨 Responding to Common Injuries
Use the first aid kit only if you are comfortable providing basic assistance. Otherwise, contact a manager.
🩸 Minor Cuts or Scrapes
- Wash hands before assisting (use gloves).
- Clean wound with antiseptic and apply a bandage.
- Offer the customer/employee time to sit or rest if needed.
- Report the incident immediately.
🔥 Minor Burns (non-chemical)
- Cool the area with clean, cool water.
- Cover with a sterile, non-adhesive bandage.
- Do not apply ice, ointments, or creams.
- Inform a supervisor and complete a report.
